A manufacturer of building ventilation systems in Spain was in need of a tight tolerance gasket product for use in their air ventilation systems.

The parts where composed of ridged GEON 8700A PVC, with a minimum thickness of .03″, and a GA-1264FR, flame retardant flexible PVC with a minimum thickness of .05″, both with a 94-5V rating.

Manufactured on our American Kuhne Co-Extrusion equipment, the finished part measured 10.750″ (+0.000″/-0.100″) in length, 0.185″ in width, and height of 1.175″ (+0.025″/-0.015″). The 380 pieces that we produced featured a 63 microinch finish, with tight tolerances of +0.025″/-0.015″.
